These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with The Last Batch and apply to every booking made through our website or our team. By making a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to them.
1. The Contract
All bookings are subject to these Terms. The agreement takes effect once you receive a confirmation email or invoice from us. The Last Batch may accept or decline any booking at its discretion.
By booking you confirm that you are 18 or older and have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of everyone included in the booking.
2. Medical Conditions & Special Requirements
Our trips frequently involve outdoor, adventure-based activity at altitude. Please consult a medical professional before booking if you have any pre-existing condition or disability.
You must tell us in writing about any physical or mental condition, allergy, pregnancy or other factor that could affect your participation. We may decline participation on medical grounds where it would compromise your safety or the group's.
3. Travelling with Children
Given the nature of our trips we do not recommend participation for children under 10. Children above that age must be supervised throughout. A child travelling without a legal guardian requires a signed parental consent form.
4. Identification
Every traveller must carry valid government-issued photo identification for the duration of the trip.
- Indian nationals: Aadhaar card, Voter ID, PAN or driving licence
- Foreign nationals: passport and a valid Indian visa
5. Cancellation
The Last Batch may cancel a trip for reasons beyond our control. Refunds for cancellations caused by weather, unrest or natural calamity are subject to deductions based on costs already incurred. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
No refund is issued for voluntary withdrawal, last-minute cancellation, no-shows, or services unused because of illness or personal reasons.
6. Pricing, Surcharges & Taxes
Quoted prices remain subject to change until final payment is received. Increases may arise from fuel surcharges, transport or accommodation cost hikes, currency movement, or taxes and government levies.
7. Flexibility & Itinerary Changes
Mountain travel requires flexibility. We work hard to run the advertised itinerary, but weather, road conditions and other unforeseeable factors can force changes. We will make all reasonable efforts to operate the trip as scheduled without guaranteeing exact details.
8. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that adventure travel carries inherent risk, including difficult terrain, unpredictable weather, transport delays and wildlife encounters.
9. Third-Party Services
Some services are delivered by third-party contractors such as local guides, drivers and accommodation providers. The Last Batch is not responsible for their acts, omissions or service standards.
10. Authority on Tour
The trip captain or The Last Batch representative has full authority over the group's safety and wellbeing. Ignoring their instructions or behaving disruptively may result in removal from the trip without refund or compensation.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform any part of a trip due to acts of God, war, terrorism, political unrest, pandemics, natural disasters or other events beyond our control.
12. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for your belongings, for obeying local law and for behaving respectfully throughout. The Last Batch is not liable for loss, legal trouble or injury arising from your misconduct or negligence.
13. Limitation of Liability
The Last Batch is not liable for:
- personal injury, illness or death
- delays, loss of enjoyment or emotional distress
- loss of or damage to personal belongings
- indirect, incidental or consequential losses
14. Severability & Assignment
If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest remains valid. These Terms bind you, your heirs, representatives and assigns, as well as The Last Batch and its successors.
15. Environmental Policy
We travel eco-consciously and expect the same. Respect local ecology and follow sustainable practice. Littering, disturbing wildlife or similar violations may result in removal from the trip without refund.
16. Refusal of Service
We may refuse service to any person, at any point, whose behaviour or actions compromise safety, comfort or legality — regardless of a confirmed booking.
17. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Please review the current version, always published at thelastbatch.in, before booking.
